Got hubby his Nightfall!!! w00t! now if he ever has time to play it. So last night my 9 year old was opening up candy with a knife and sat it down on the couch and forgot it was there, then she sat on it and gashed her thigh open, then her and her sister tried to hide it from me and when her sister saw how badly it was bleeding she said "Mom promise you won't freak out?" I said no whats wrong now? here comes my 9 year old with blood soaked underwear and covering it up with toilet paper... I look at it and the way it was laid open freaked me out so I dressed stuffed her shorts with toilet paper and drove her to the ER where they stitched her up. That kid is one brave chicka, she didn't shed one tear when they sewed her up. She did however bite the fire out me when they stuck the medicine needle in the wound, I thought I was going to need stitches. My poor baby!

Do you know that to sew up a puncture wound... (3 stitches in this case) it cost $625.00 ... they did nothing else... no meds nothing and that is what they charge... those people are crazy. Geez they think people just have that much money growing out their butts??? grrrr... anywho... yea that was my night.

Kailynn, that remind me of the time when i was around 12 and found my dad's pocket knife. I was playing with it until i pulled out the knife part and accidently cut it across one of my finger. Good thing i used band-aid to cover it up and put the pocket knife back in the old hidding spot.

lol nice Grim. I hope your daughter is ok Kailynn and ya the bumholes at the ER defiently overcharge you for everything. I remember when i was moving some woodsheets around and one slipped from my hand took a huge chunk of skin off the top of my thumb. I showed my dad and he pulled the chunk off since it was just hanging there. Then he told me to run it under water and throw a band-aid on it. lol good ol band-aids.

I "remember" getting drunk, being dared to skateboard naked and broke my leg as I fell down. Probably the most embarrassing day in my life, but you gotta learn to laugh at yourself
